DEPARTMENTS

Council for Quality and Environment (CQE) which has established to provide quality control studies in 1996 under the Turkish Cement Manufacturers' Association has switched and organized its services to support the producers to EU conformity assessment activities in 2000 based on the implementation of Customs Union Agreement and the Association Council Decisions between European Union (EU) and Turkey which has paved way to finally harmonization of the EU technical legislation to Turkish National Legislation. Hence, CQE has conducted all the relevant studies in regards to “CE’ mark and fulfilled the terms and conditions required under the scope of Construction Product Directive where it has been appointed as a notified body with an identity number of 1784 in December 27, 2006 by EU Commission decision.

CQE was accredited by Turkish Accreditation Agency (TÜRKAK) as a product certification body with a scope given below;

The scope of standards for CE marking are:

THE FEES:

The certification services fee for each type of cement is 8.380,00 USD

The initial certification audit fee is within the scope of EN 197-2 standard 3.425,00 USD

The surveillance audit fee is within the scope of EN 197-2 standard 2.740,00 USD
